Thriving in the underworld

This summer I had the opportunity to check one of the items from my to-do list. Make a trip to Nottingham and visit Warhammer World. Among the many things I found there I got to treat myself to a discontinued Warhammer Underworlds Warband made of clan pestilens Skaven. With the coming of OPR I found myself playing more and more with the miniatures I had been collecting for ages but never actually brought to the table. The Skaven were some of those. Dangers of the Cursed City

At the beginning of 2024 I got my hands on a Warhammer Quest cursed city set. I do not like zombies at all, but the skeleton and vampire models on the set really called to me. This was my first foray into speed paints, even earlier than my Votann models, and was done using the original 1.0 Speed Paints. Hounds of the Storm

Pitch vermin

The new edition of Blood Bowl is in and is looking sweeeeeeeet as hell! So I got renewed energy to paint my GW skaven team that I bought like a year ago. I didn't want to go with the usual color scheme so I did some internet search and ended up on an interesting yellow/black scheme. The yellow was a muted tone, closer to brown, that would fit the skaven dirty theme but be bright enough to look like sports attire.
