Tiny tiny Magical girls!

So, after several years I have more Dorasure to paint! First of all I want to start by thanking my friend Oscar who was kind enough to bring this from Japan for me.  The Dream Knights set is a set from what the publisher calls "Another World". Basically it is meant be played as a substitute of some of the characters on the main set. Mainly the barbarian, vampire, hunter, bishop and minstrel. Blades of the Empire

They are here! The new Dorasure expansions were brought to me by a friend who just recently travelled to Japan, and I must say the miniatures are even more beautiful in hand so I had to rush to paint them as soon as I could. The 3 new heroes hail from the Empire, the new region appearing in the Imperial Travel Journal Gemeos expansion. The Bishop is a reliable healer and the highest Knowledge character in the game by now and can use Knowledge to fight the dragon if he discovers his unique treasure. Really excited to try her! The last Dragon Hunter

Today one of my projects comes to an end. With the Grand-Master, all my Dorasure miniatures are finished! So I rounded up all the hunters for a final photo-shot with my Kimeron scenics. Brainless violence...

So time for a new painting update. I had some disappointments with Sodapop miniatures customer service this week... that, and I fell again in love with Arcadia Quest due to a solo mode that really met my expectations. I'm currently soloing the "Beyond the Grave" campaign, and I'm finding it pretty fun. It's not like the usual free for all, but more like a puzzley adventure because the time limit makes you think very well your every move.  Also is way faster to set up and play than an Arcade game of SDE. Dorasure - batch 3

This week I finished some more Dorasure adventurers. Only 3 more remaining to close the full set of 12! Werewolf, Caster and Shaman Back view Caster (from MinCas expansion) was a lot of fun to paint, she has a lot of tiny details you can work on like the staff crystal and potions. I decided to go for redish orange hair as a contrast point to make her face pop out. The werewolf (from Fang expansion) was the easiest, keeping it a simple monochrome with red details for contrast. Lots of pics today! I'm not sure if it was the Legends announcement but i'm on an incredible painting streak lately trying to finish everything. First, I finished my Kodamas so now I can field the fully spawnpoint. King Sprout I also finished Treant to go together with them. Pretty basic scheme I didn't want to complicate.
