Experiments in 3D basing

Lately most of my projects related to the Combined Army where put on a halt due to basing issues. When I began my Onyx force I had just taken a small sculpting class and I was all hyped up to sculpt my own bases for my miniatures. Boldly defiant

I'm currently playing Infinity Defiance's campaign with my RPG club. It's being a great ride and so far we're having a ton of fun with each mission. Right now we're about halfway through the whole campaign and it's also become a great motivator for me to paint the miniatures as I'm trying to finish each week the minis I will need on the next game. Unwanted Visitors

There is a general rule of thumb for me when it comes to miniature painting. The less interested I am in the miniature, the higher the chance I ace it during the paint process and end up loving it. The Interplanetario is over so it's time to get back to our rutines.
