There is a timeless joy in painting fantasy dwarves, but when it came time to tackle the new Warcrow Mounthaven infantry, I knew I wanted to push past the traditional glinting steel and bright golden braids. Engines of War

Lately I've been working on my WarRig for Warcrow. It was the last remaining unit for my Hegemony of Embersig army and it was quite a daunting proposition as it was quite a big and complex model. The model is spectacular in its construction as both the internal pilots are sculpted in amazing detail. In the name of the Hegemon

This year I came from Corvus Belli's Interplanetario with a bag full of Warcrow loot. Most of it was what I was missing to complete my Hegemony of Embersig force. Sadly I could not find the Black Legion officers but most of the other wants ended up in the basket. Arquebussiers were one of the miniature sets I was most looking forward to paint. A tide of Red

Today I bring you one of my favorite projects from this year, a completely customized Redcap army for Warcrow the wargame, based on the Warcrow Adventures boardgame miniatures. The 2 board game expansions come with enough redcaps to field a complete army, however, all figures are monopose so I had to work my way into reposing them to make them feel distinct.  Starting with the Gobblers, these were cut apart to put the shooter in different positions around the rocky environment.
