There is a timeless joy in painting fantasy dwarves, but when it came time to tackle the new Warcrow Mounthaven infantry, I knew I wanted to push past the traditional glinting steel and bright golden braids. In the name of the Hegemon

This year I came from Corvus Belli's Interplanetario with a bag full of Warcrow loot. Most of it was what I was missing to complete my Hegemony of Embersig force. Sadly I could not find the Black Legion officers but most of the other wants ended up in the basket. Arquebussiers were one of the miniature sets I was most looking forward to paint. Holding the line

The second wave of acquisitios for my Warcrow Hegemony force included the Beyond Winds of the North box, which added the dwarves to the Hegemony lineup and two of my favorite units in the game as a whole: the Bulwarks and the Aggressors. These are some of the most badass miniatures of the Warcrow range in my opinion, they are obviously reminiscent of the Empire swordsmen from the old Warhammer Fantasy, but the quality of the sculpts is miles away. Doomseekers

Already halfway through my copy of Silver Tower. This week i finished some of the monsters, completed the Horror set and tried some new things on the Fyreslayer Doomseeker and the Excelsior Warpriest. The Excelsior Warpriest was a new go at painting black skin, trying to consolidate the things I learned while painting the Kairic Acolytes.
