Last year I was fortunate to receive some support from Corvus Belli to do some videos regarding the new vehicles. I was playing some Qapu Khalqi at the time and was usually proxying my haqqislamite flyer with a panoceanian RedEye. Corvus Belli was kind enough to provide me a Zeybek Aerounit and I got fast into work to make sure it got ready to hit the table in style.
I used my basic Qapu scheme of green, bone and a touch of dark red. The look resulted very militaristic and I was in doubt about doing its wings in blue or orange. In the end orange looked more fitting with the overall look of the army.
After finishing the Zeybek I though this was the best moment in time to finally stop being lazy and putting my Maghariba on the painting queue. This was a beast. Very difficult to keep it stable while painting due to being an enourmous brick of metal.
The color scheme was pretty much the same. So to pop out I had to keep consisten on the orange effects that here where used on the main visor's eyes.
Qapu is my main haqqislam faction and while it might not be as flashy and glamorous as the new factions it still appeals to me a lot gameplay-wise. I brought them with me for the last BCN Open Sattellite tournament for which I had to paint some extras to add to my collection: the Korsan, who just had an awesome miniature release inspired by Captain Harlock, and the old Asawira which I use to proxy the Sekban (which I never really liked the models).
