A busy day in Traitor's Toll

One of my greatest finds this year was Guards of Traitor's Toll. A narrative miniatures game were you control a guard patrol on a busy city and you have to keep the peace in a city full of rogues, drunkards, misguided wizards and organized crime gangs. The game comes with several sprues that allows you to assemble two 6-man squads and 24 civilians with a potential for crime. If you only knew the power of the Dark Side

Keeping up with my Shatterpoint painting, after finishing my core box I bought some expansions to allow me to play as the Empire. Mandalorian civil war

Recently my gaming group has had a renewed interest is Star Wars Shatterpoint. We saw that Atomic Mass had updated several old profiles of the game and decided to give it a go again with some new players. The terror that was prophesized

When I painted my Kurgan warband for Sphere Wars, one model was left remaining. The massive Leviathan miniature. This resin miniature is twice the size of bigger models and it totally dwarfs human sized miniatures.  For miniatures this big I tend to use Army Painter Speedpaints. A tide of Red

Today I bring you one of my favorite projects from this year, a completely customized Redcap army for Warcrow the wargame, based on the Warcrow Adventures boardgame miniatures. The 2 board game expansions come with enough redcaps to field a complete army, however, all figures are monopose so I had to work my way into reposing them to make them feel distinct.  Starting with the Gobblers, these were cut apart to put the shooter in different positions around the rocky environment.
