Skin color lottery
I've been sick with the flu this week, so I had some time to spare at home. Decided to invest some time in finishing some half-painted miniatures from severeal armies I had lying around on the paint desk.
For my spiral corps I finished the Kumotail. I'm finding myself lacking specialists for missions when I play spiral so I'm trying to add this girl to reinforce triads from time to time despite Tohaa veterans constantly telling me it's not worth the point cost. Still, she has made some pretty nice saves for me so far, so I guess she deserves a bit of color.
It's fun that her face structure looks different from the other Tohaa, she looks like she has feline nose/mouth.
I also had my autocannon Kurgat lying around. I really like the Kurgat haris on Morats but I'm still waiting for a new sculpt to complete the fireteam. Please CB, give us a new Kurgat before you start the Shasvastii madness!
I decided to paint the Autocannon as an energy weapon instead of a slug weapon, as I did with the Szally HMC. Overall this turned to be a really awesome sculpt, and I'm looking forwart to use it on my RPG campaign too.
Last but not least, my Moderators received reinforcements, completing at last the full link team. I needed to rush this ones as the current story arc of my RPG campaign has the players just arriving at Bakunin, and they are bound to be involved in all crazy shennanigans.
They were bulk painted so they are not as detailed as other models but I think they are good enough for tabletop for now.
