The crazy madlads

Lately I've been playing a local league with my Bakunin troops and I found myself several times proxying Avicenna to support my Riot Grrrrrls... Which was a bit ridiculous because I actually own the model, however I had never gotten myself to paint her. So having the league as an excuse, it was a great time to paint her up.  She obviously got painted in bromad colors. Mainly a bakunin white color scheme with some details in red and orange. I had just painted a lot of black and latino alguaciles so I felt like painting her with a more caucas…

Skin color lottery

I've been sick with the flu this week, so I had some time to spare at home. Decided to invest some time in finishing some half-painted miniatures from severeal armies I had lying around on the paint desk. For my spiral corps I finished the Kumotail. I'm finding myself lacking specialists for missions when I play spiral so I'm trying to add this girl to reinforce triads from time to time despite Tohaa veterans constantly telling me it's not worth the point cost. Still, she has made some pretty nice saves for me so far, so I guess sh…

Space Invaders

My tunguska project keeps going on with my bounty hunter turned into Zondnautica. Got the ITS exclusive bounty hunter for a bargain some months ago and planned to use her as a brawler but the need for a zondnautica miniature that I could mount and dismount quickly put her on the nomad queue as I bought the mounted version of her.  The biker was magnetized so I could remove her when she dismounts from the zondbike. I also finished a morlock that has been lying around halfpainted for a while and at last had the willpower to get mys…

Trusty old junkpile

Just finishing my bag for the Interplanetario this weekend. I just wanted to update with the last big buddy to join my bromads. I always thought the lizard had a crazy cool design but the dull pose pulls people away from it. So with the help of some spare xeodron plating I had from a misspack and some cutting and bending I manage to repose it and give it a bit more of height, raising it's head, as well as make it look a bit more dynamic by moving her arms and legs a bit. Good ol' Lizzie I used my standard bakunin white-black-orange sc…

VII Complutum Belli Sattellite roundup

This will be the first time on the blog I go out of general painting log and do some battle reporting. In this case I will write some of the matches I had at the awesome Complutum Belli infinity sattelite event that happened in Alcala (Madrid-Spain) last week, where I took two Bakunin lists to face some of the best spanish players around and try not to be humiliated in the process. My first list. Riot core, Custodier Haris, a clockmacker and a TRbot. Fun times. Game 1 (against Mayoral's - Haqqislam) Supremacy Even though in this mission is…
