Orbital debris fields

This was a small side project I did when I was working on my Dropfleet commander fleets back during first edition. I wanted to have some terrain for my space games to add some personality to the board.  I started with some plasticard sheets where I pinned several spare parts from my dropfleet and heavy gear sprue, and added some cork to act as meteorites. Pinning them between them gave the feel of them floating over the base and helped sell the illusion of a densely packed field of debris where some space combat was taking place. For th…

Yujing inspired UCM fleet.

This week, our local rpg/wargaming club had to do a big mat order for an upcoming infinity event we're organizing. So I decided to tag along and order some mats for my Dropfleet Commander games. The new mats are looking great and as a collateral advantadge allowed me to take some decent pics of my UCM fleet wich I had painted some time ago but was having a lot of trouble taking pictures of.   As my PHR before this one, the colour scheme was inspired by Infinity. In this case, this is a Yujing fleet. So yellowish brown was my to-go main color. Accent…

Panoceanian High-Orbit Regiment pt.2 #SpringDropComp

This weekend was dedicated mainly to finish the 6 cruisers, adding some flair to my Priam and basing the whole fleet. I also freehanded the panoceanian logo and the ship names on the fron…

Panoceanian High-Orbit Regiment (PHR) for Dropfleet Commander - Pt. 1

For some months now I've got really interested and invested in Dropfleet Commander. I was looking for spaceships to add to my Infinity RPG campaign and when I started to look into dropfleet I gazed waaaay too deep into the rabbit hole. Last I knew I was buying myself 3 full fleets to portray Panoceania, Yujing and Nomads in my RPG campaign that were also playable with the Dropfleet ruleset (I also had to buy rules and cards because reasons...) I started buying and painting a UCM fleet in Yujing colors, and then moved to PHR Panoceania for #Sp…
